Former President of the International Missionary and Christian Women’s Auxiliary

Pastor Rosetta Ferrill, stood with her husband Elder Wilson Ferrill, Jr. as he ws installed as the Pastor of the Christ Temple Church, Inc. in Robbins, Illinois.  It was January 1981, and she was filled with pride as well as excitement of becoming the pastor’s wife of a small congregation.  Along with her excitement, she brought experience and a wealth of ideas just waiting to be explored.

Rolling up her sleeves, Evangelist Ferrill began to work beside her husband.  She worked in numerous capacities, filling any position where there was a need, until the congregation grew and the Lord provided willing workers with various gifts and talents.

Evangelist Ferrill spearheaded outstanding contributions and accomplishments as she served in positions ranging from cook to choir directress, Sunday School teacher to Women’s Auxiliary President.

Evangelist Ferrill served as co-pastor under her husband.  Upon his death, January 10, 1994, Evangelist Rosetta Ferrill assumed the pastorate of the Christ Temple Church, Inc.

As Pastor Ferrill continues her work for the Lord, she has filled many positions on the state level as well as the international level.

The Executive Board of the IMCWA wrote for her: “For six years your dynamic and inspiring leadership caused your staff to do much through your encouraging words.  Through your creativity, you have established such innovative programs as the President’s Council, which opened communications between yourself and state chairpersons, and W.O.R.K.S., which provided opportunities for non-preaching sisters to have a part as convention speakers.  We appreciate how you made the office of the president approachable.  We have indeed been blessed by your leadership, and pray that God will, in turn, bless you – pressed down and running over – for the fine work you have done as president of the International Missionary and Christian Women’s Auxiliary.”
